Nothing says fall like visiting a farm to pick your own pumpkin, getting lost in a corn maze or taking a hay ride. Some farms in Simcoe County go all out to make fall extra festive for kids with fun activities for families to enjoy. From festive games to petting zoos, play structures and more, Simcoe County’s farms are full of festive fun.

From September 10th through to October 31st, Chappell Farms transforms into a fun zone for families. The Fall Festival features a petting zoo, corn maze, tricycle track, sand diggers, a kid’s maze, and magic show. Admission includes one pick your own pumpkin.
Drysdale Tree Farm

Cost: $12.75 per person. Children age 3 and under are free.
The festive fun begins October 8th at Drysdale Tree Farm with their Halloween and Harvest Village, running every weekend until Halloween. Drysdale’s Haunted Harvest Village is a must-enjoy experience for every trick-or-treater. Enjoy a walk down the haunted trail (if you dare), an obstacle course, kids’ zip line, and train rides. Bring your own marshmallows and roasting sticks for the bonfire. Pumpkin picking is not included in the admission price.
Hewitt’s Fun Farm

Fall fun at Hewitt’s Fun Farm runs from September 25th to October 31st. Kids can enjoy dozens of activities at this family-owned farm, from a corn maze featuring hidden games kids can play, wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, a sand kitchen, a play structure, a tunnel slide, and of course, visit the farm animals.
Morrison Pumpkin Farm

This multi-generational family-owned farm grows and sells over 50 varieties of pumpkins, squash, and ornamentals and offers fall family fun including a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and creative fall displays that make adorable backdrops for family photos. This is also a great place to pick up some fall decor.

Pumpkin Mania is in full swing at Rounds Ranch from September 17th – October 30th. Celebrate the fall season with tractor rides to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin. Admission includes a pumpkin of any size and colour. Crazy pumpkin games happen every half hour on weekends from pumpkin bowling to sack races, pie eating contests, and more. Pumpkin Mania at Rounds Ranch features over 22 fun fall-themed activities for kids of all ages including a petting zoo, zipline, pony rides, barnyard boxcars, corn maze, sand box, tire pyramid, low ropes course, and more. They also have an evening flashlight corn maze every Saturday night until 10 pm in October. Bring your own flashlight and find your way through the twists and turns of the corn maze to solve the puzzle then enjoy a campfire at the farm.
