May 14th is National Caesar Day!ย Canadaโs signature cocktail, more than 350 million Caesars are poured every year from coast to coast!
Although the exact origins of the Caesar are still unclear, the most popular theory remains that Calgarian barman Walter Chell developed the first recipe.ย Given Chellโs Italian background, it is believed the Caesar was inspired by the flavours of Spaghetti alle Vongole, a traditional clam pasta.
