Heritage Workshop: Halloween Cookie Decorating and Tour

Join Sugar and Stuff to learn the basics of sugar cookies and decorate 6 Hallowe’en-themed cookies to get in the mood for spooky season! The 1.5 hour workshop will include piping practice with Royal Icing, information about the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and will cover the general concepts around dough and icing. Everything you’ll need is provided in class – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron). You’ll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies, your set of 6 beautifully decorated cookies, and a Sugar and Stuff cookie to enjoy during class. Participants will also have the opportunity to take a tour of Ireland House Museum decorated in mourning, while learning all about Victorian funerary traditions after the workshop (3:00pm). Light refreshments included. This workshop is suitable for ages 16 .
