After four successful years, show producers, shoppers and vendors eagerly anticipate the return of The Vintage Marketplace for its anniversary year! Past years have combined great vintage finds and vintage lifestyle collections with thousands of discerning shoppers. 2016 saw over 5,400 attendees. “We have added more vendors, more space and new show highlights to help celebrate five years in Hamilton”, says Andreana Hudson, Producer of The Vintage Marketplace.
Produced by Hamiltonians, The Vintage Marketplace is a two-day shopping event, selling and celebrating vintage and vintage inspired collections and services. It welcomes a full spectrum of vendors and offerings including: furniture, clothing, home décor, jewellery, restoration, upcycled pieces, wedding inspiration, ads, memorabilia, and much more in between!
On April 22nd & 23rd, attendees will be treated to the unique offering of a hybrid show, with 60+ vendors showcasing a variety of offerings. There will be something for everyone, as local sights, sounds and flavours are also featured.
Vintage Coffee Roasters will provide attendees with sustenance for a busy shopping day. Girl on the Wing and Eye of Faith will treat guests to a daily Fashion Show at 2pm. DJ Donna Lovejoy will spin vinyl records of days past. Local act, The Vaudevillians, will perform multiple sets each day. Little Makers will offer creative crafting for little ones, as Mummy & Daddy shop vintage. And Architect Hair Design is working on a big show feature…stay tuned!
With The Painted Bench and Momentum Credit Union as Presenting Partners, The Vintage Marketplace is truly a community effort with an ever-expanding reach! Momentum Credit Union will be hosting our Wedding Inspiration section, which will be further expanded this year.
VIP Shopping Hour is 10am to 11am Saturday only, giving shoppers first pick for a $10 entrance fee. Regular Shopping Hours are Saturday 11am-6pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm, with a $7 entrance fee. Those who would like to attend can purchase tickets in advance through Bruha.com or at the door.
