November 23 + 24: Stuffed debuts a new night market on black Friday weekend at the Leander Boat Club.  Curating a 50+ group of the area’s best makers, chefs and vendors, Stuffed covers all of your stocking stuffer needs: from gift packages and winery experiences to handmade skincare, edibles & lifestyle goods.

What’s more, jam out to yacht club rockers, The Skiffs on Friday night, and groove to live entertainment by DJ Donna Lovejoy on Saturday. Shoppers can browse quality local goods while enjoying live music, tasty food & drink by Salty Espresso, and all around good vibes in HamOnt.

Craftadian Christmas

December 1: Craftadian Christmas Market welcomes more than 80 jury selected makers, showcasing a wide array of goods, from edible treats including maple syrup, artisanal cheese, and home-baked strudel to home-goods including handcrafted charcuterie boards, artwork and healing candles, as well as, lifestyle goods including children’s wear, chemical-free lipstick and organic skincare.

Best part while your shopping local, you’re also supporting the Hamilton community. Craftadian has partnered with The Shoebox Project at McMaster Innovation Park on Saturday, December 1. Attendees are encouraged to bring donated items that would help any woman feel special this holiday season: make-up, skin care, soaps and shampoos, and warm socks and mittens, to name a few, and in exchange they will receive $2 off of their $5 admission.

“Supporting the local community and economy have always been integral parts of Craftadian’s mission, and this charity allows us to give back directly to women impacted by homelessness in Hamilton” says show director, Jacqueline Hunter.

Shoppers also have a chance to get free swag bags, win gift cards, and get their photos taken with Santa Clause while sampling food and dancing to DJ Aerlie Wild’s soulful tunes.

 Plus, there is plenty of free parking at 175 Longwood Road S, and tickets run for $5 a person (Under 16 free), or $3 with a charity donation.
