Alexandra Smither Soprano

Schubert’s melodies create an uplifting tone for this
concert featuring Guest Soprano Alexandra Smither performing the composer’s
beloved Ave Maria. Smither joins the orchestra again for contemporary
Canadian composer Zosha di Castri’s Dear Life, based on the short
story of the same name by Alice Munro. The Overture to Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni brings
drama while Schubert’s Symphony No. 9 presents heavenly melodies for an
inspiring conclusion.
