An activist culture that emphasizes passion and unwavering commitment can be alienating to those members who have lost some of that initial spark. This workshop aims to break down the stigma surrounding activist burnout, offer some constructive solutions for how to get back from the brink of burnout, and tips how to prevent it in yourself and members of your group.

Trainer: Angela Bischoff is the Outreach Director for the Ontario Clean Air Alliance.

The event will be held in Room A-115 at QEPCCC. Participation is limited to 35 people.

Cost: $10 per person, payable through PayPal or by cash or cheque at the door. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Halton Environmental Network (HEN) is an incorporated non-profit organization operating in the Region of Halton (Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton, and Oakville). HEN’s members are 45 non-profit environmental groups operating in Halton. HEN shares information and resources with member groups, other non-profit organizations, businesses, governments, and the public.
