Burlington Mall Farmer's Market Opens May 7

With a roster of approximately 40 vendors, the Burlington Mall Farmers’ Market has something for all tastes. In addition to the plentiful variety of Ontario grown fruit and vegetables that become available as the season progresses, the market offers many other types of locally produced foods such as eggs, butter, honey, cheese and baked goods, including gluten-free items as well as a wide selection of barbecue and deli meats. These are in addition to jams and jellies, meat pies, sprouts, salsas and dips and some seasonal surprises like zucchini blossoms.

Market days are Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The market is located on the Prospect St. side of the Burlington Mall.
