Victoria Day Weekend @ the Oakville Museum

Step back in time and join the Oakville Museum and the Oakville Historical Society in celebrating International Museum Day on Saturday, May 17 from 1-4:30pm and Sunday, May 18 from noon to 4 pm. Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted to support the activities. All ages welcome!

Enjoy toe tapping fun plus lots of activities, crafts and games for the whole family at Oakville’s First Post Office. The Playford Players will perform musical selections dating from the late 17th to mid-20th centuries, including traditional English, Irish, Scottish, Canadian and American material. At the Thomas House, costumed Oakville Historical Society volunteers will invite you into an early 1830’s farm home, complete with a fire in the hearth.
