Dog Guides Open House

On Saturday, October 25, Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides is hosting its annual fall Open House at the Oakville training facility (152 Wilson St.).  From 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. the public is invited to cuddle some future Dog Guide puppies, see demonstrations from all six Dog Guide programs, tour the training facility, and learn about how to become a foster family or volunteer.  The event will also feature a silent auction, with all of the proceeds going towards providing Dog Guides at no cost to Canadians with disabilities.  For more information please call (905) 842-2891 or email info@dogguides.com.
