Earth Day at the Ireland House Museum

Following the natural lifestyle of the Ireland Family, the Ireland House Museum will offer activities to educate and entertain while raising environmental awareness. Groups may participate in: tree planting on the Ireland House Museum property, a nature walk and scavenger hunt along the Yellow Rope Trail, creating a natural bird feeder to take home, and touring the historic home with a focus on how the Ireland Family and early Canadian pioneers would have reduced their carbon footprints.

Refreshments are included: a special ‘Earth Day Organic Bar’, coffee refills for those with a re-usable mug, and water bottle re-fills.
