Greenbelt Harvest Picnic

The Greenbelt Harvest Picnic serves to celebrate the importance of the Greenbelt, local farmers, art, the outdoors and the eat-local movement.  This year’s music line-up includes Ray LaMontagne, Daniel Lanois, Bruce Cockburn, Gord Downie & The Sadies, Los Lobos, Sarah Harmer, Ron Sexsmith, Boris Brott &The National Academy Orchestra, Elliott Brood and Laura Cole.  Concert-goers will also enjoy a local farmers market, horticultural workshops, art vendors, food and beverage areas, swimming and good old-fashioned picnicking.  Christie Lake is a natural paradise, boasting 830 acres of hiking trails, picnic areas, fishing ponds and beaches.
