Event Details

Treat your mother to a memorable Mother’s Day!  Ireland House at Oakridge Farm is hosting an Historic Cooking Program on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.  Limited to 10 participants, the program will be lead by local culinarian and cooking instructor, Michelle Gatien, author of “The Market Cook”.

Participants will enjoy an intimate cooking experience in the historic 1850s hearth kitchen, where they will learn and make foods inspired by the ladies of Ireland House, using historic recipes from the 1800s and early 1900s.  At the end of the cooking program, participants will receive a guided tour of the historic Ireland family home, followed by a formal tea sitting where they will be able to enjoy the results of their cooking adventure.

Cost: $35.00 per person.  Pre-registration is required.  Participants will receive a copy of all recipes made during the program.
