Kanata Summer Festival: Canada Day Event

Pancake Breakfast, 8 a.m. to Noon, $4, Hosted by Newmarket Car Club, Newmarket Community Centre & Lions Hall (200 Doug Duncan Drive).

Kanata Celebration, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fairy Lake Park (water Street) , Presented by the Town of Newmarket, celebrate the nation’s birthday with fun for the whole family.

Kanata Fireworks, dusk (approx. 10 p.m.), George Richardson Park. The Town of Newmarket is proud to present the annual Canada Day fireworks. Newmarket Citizens Band performs starting at 7:30 p.m., weather permitting.
