March Break Camps @ Oakville Galleries

Dedicated to art-making and outdoor recreation in Gairloch Gardens, our March Break camps are designed to keep kids active and inspired while school’s out! Participants learn different art making techniques and use a variety of contemporary and traditional art materials, including recycled household objects, video, drawing, and painting to create imaginative art works that capture their interests and ideas. Like a Lion, Like a Lamb
Inspired by the sometimes tumultuous, sometimes gentle incoming spring weather, kids will make works of art that interact with the ups and downs of the changing seasons, such as cloud catchers, weather balloons, solar paper prints, storm shelters, and other projects that explore our environment.

Ship of Dreams
Travel away on a sea of magic and wonder in your very own ship of dreams! With boating-themed activities taking place both in the studio and outdoors by the ponds in Gairloch Gardens, campers will construct all kinds of magnificent sea-worthy vessels using sculpture, painting and printmaking techniques, then document their journeys with
video and stop-motion animation.
