Every year over 300 walkers come together at the Oakville Mandarin MS Walk to fundraise and support those living with multiple sclerosis.
Multiple sclerosis is a devastating autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. The disease can strike at any time seriously altering and impairing vision, hearing, memory, balance and mobility. Funds raised from the Oakville Mandarin MS Walk go towards supporting those living in Halton with multiple sclerosis and funding research towards improved treatments and a cure.
Registration for the walk is free and can be done online at www.mswalks.ca or by contacting Rachael Sedman at rachael.sedman@mssociety.ca or 1-800-268-7582 ext. 3122. Family and friends can walk individually or form a team!
All walkers are welcome to participate in the 5km or 10km routes followed by a free BBQ lunch.
