Robert Edmondson CA hosting Family Fishing Derby

Conservation Halton is hosting a Family Fishing Derby at Robert Edmondson Conservation Area this Saturday, July 19. This event is for anglers of all ages, so bring your little ones and your fishing rod for prizes, raffles and fun.

No registration is required to participate in the Family Fishing Derby, gate fees apply, Halton Parks members only need to show their membership for admission. To help preserve our ecosystem, no live bait please. As a reminder, anglers 18 years of age and over require an Ontario Fishing Licence, while anglers under 18 years of age do not require a licence.

The Family Fishing Derby takes place from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. There will be prizes and raffles as well. The Izaak Walton Fly Fishing Club will be on site to provide Fly Tying and Casting Lessons during the event.
