Tickets on sale for “Experience a Revolution” event featuring film creator Rob Stewart

BURLINGTON, ON – In 2012 BurlingtonGreen brought world renowned Dr. Jane Goodall to Burlington for two sold out events. This year the local not-for-profit will welcome award-winning biologist, conservationist, photographer, and creator of acclaimed film Sharkwater, Rob Stewart, for a night of inspiration.
The special event will be held on October 21st, 2014 at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre and will feature the screening of his latest film, Revolution, followed by a keynote presentation and audience Q & A with the Toronto-born filmmaker.
The award winning film producer, author, and on-screen star has made featured appearances on numerous high profile TV shows, such as: The Hour, Larry King Live, The Today Show, The Late Show, Nightline, Entertainment Tonight, and more.

Included at the event will be the presentation of BurlingtonGreen’s 2014 Eco-awards where five lucky eco-award winners will enjoy the stage spotlight as they receive special presentations from Rob Stewart himself!
Local citizens, groups, and businesses are invited to submit nominations highlighting their efforts to help the planet locally before September 25th, 2014 for a chance to receive an Eco-Award.
A selection of Rob Stewart’s books will be available for purchase and signing, and all event guests will be entered into a free raffle for a chance to win a terrific eco-pack.
Tickets are $25 taxes and fees included and are expected to sell out quickly. Proceeds to support the valued efforts of BurlingtonGreen.
