WholeFoods hosts Community Support Day for BurlingtonGreen

Be sure your purchases are helping to support our local environment by shopping at Whole Foods Market on Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 for their Community Support Day with BurlingtonGreen!

5% of the store’s net sales generated that day will be donated to BurlingtonGreen to support the local not-for-profit organization including their Grow to Give donation garden program. Located at the Central Park Community Garden, the Grow to Give program is entering its 4th year and to date has provided over 2300lbs (1044 kgs) of fresh, organic produce to Halton food banks for community members in need.

BurlingtonGreen volunteers will be on hand to greet customers, bag groceries, and spread the word about local opportunities for the community to get involved to take action to help the planet locally.
