We carefully select the businesses we partner with, keeping a focus on creativity, quality and distinctiveness. Our Partners make or source products on a small scale and are all independently owned and operated small businesses.
Collective Marketing
Look Local is a platform that allows visitors to discover and buy from multiple small businesses all in one place. With our collective marketing power we’ll get your brand in front of thousands of site visitors who appreciate local goods and are looking for unique and special items.
Our paid advertising campaigns across digital and print are complemented by influencer marketing and consistent cross promotion by each of our Partners. This is all in addition to regular social media features, email marketing and other PR initiatives.

Your Digital Storefront
Each of our Partners gets a storefront within looklocal.ca where they can tell their story and showcase their products. It’s essentially a digital shop window where visitors can learn more about you and the range of products you carry.
You’ll also be given access to the looklocal.ca dashboard where you can manage your products, inventory and order history.
The Technicals
- If you already have an online store, we can sync your products and inventory, making joining a breeze
- Don’t have an online store? Not to worry, it’s easy to set up a profile and upload your products – and our team of experts can help you along the way
- When a sale is made, you’ll get an email notifying you of the order with all the customer details included. Once the order is fulfilled, we send the funds directly to your PayPal account
- You can access your looklocal.ca dashboard anytime to adjust stock levels, products and also manage your orders
- We generate the traffic and transactions, you handle order fulfilment and returns/exchanges. This allows you to give your customers the best experience possible and keeps things simple.
