June is Seniors Month! ☀️

It’s the perfect time to celebrate, connect, and try something new in our community.

🎬 Silver Screamers – enjoy a special documentary screening and Q&A with the director: Silver Screamers highlights the powerful impact of creativity and connection in later life by following a group of older adults who come together to do something entirely new.
Over approximately 18 months, the seniors learn filmmaking skills, collaborate creatively, and form strong social bonds as they work collectively to make a short horror film. The documentary challenges stereotypes about aging by presenting older adults as capable, curious, and engaged, while illustrating how creative projects can build confidence, reduce social isolation, and foster a renewed sense of purpose and community. Meet the Director for a Q&A after the movie – a truly great experience!

You’ve got to check out the new exhibit at The Art Gallery of Burlington! Celina Eceiza: A material called Earth, Volume 1: The life of corners, curated by Sylvie Fortin, will be on view from May 16 – August 16, 2026, in the Art Gallery of Burlington’s Lee-Chin Family Gallery. AGB will also be marking the closing of Phuong Nguyen: “she died a death of a thousand cuts” in the Perry Gallery on view from Jan 31 - May 17, 2026. Complimentary refreshments will be provided during the reception on May 16th from 1-3 by Cafe del Cielo @cafedelcielotm and Familia Fine Foods @familiafinefoods. 💫🎨

There will also be a free drop-in Family Open Studios this Saturday, starting at 1pm in the Creative Commons.
