Movie Night in Hendrie Park: A Green Angels Fundraiser

Enjoy a movie
night in the gardens for a great cause, featuring The Wild Robot (2024),
rated PG.

Doors open at
6:30 p.m. so you can enjoy lawn games, complimentary popcorn, and you won’t
want to miss the Turtle Discovery Show at 7:15 p.m. The Food Truck will be open
for purchase of hand-helds, snacks, and drinks.

The movie starts
around 8-8:15 p.m. (based on light conditions). If you’re looking for a
film that’s both heartwarming and thought-provoking, The Wild Robot is
a must-watch. When a robot named Roz washes up on a remote island, she must
learn to survive in the wild—and in doing so, discovers what it means to truly
live. With stunning animation, a powerful story about connection and identity,
and a cast of unforgettable animal characters, this film blends adventure,
emotion, and nature in a way that will stay with you long after the credits
roll.

Guests are
asked to bring blankets, cushions, or pillows for turf seating. Lawn
chairs are welcome behind lawn seating. Rental chairs are available by
pre-purchase only.

All proceeds
from this event will directly support RBG’s Green Angels Program. This program assists
individuals and families facing financial constraints, ensuring access to
enriching experiences and educational opportunities provided by RBG.
