The businesses of the Burlington Downtown Business Association (BDBA) invite you to join them for their annual Candlelit Stroll. This warm and cheery celebration officially launches the holiday season in Burlington Downtown and the Burlington Festival of Lights.
Beginning at 6pm in Civic Square, outside City Hall, grab your candles or glow sticks and gather with family and friends as the community celebrates the lighting of the Tree of Hope. From 7pm to 9pm enjoy a free evening full of self-led winter magic in Burlington Downtown with a whole host of activities for all ages!
Take in the spirit of the season with their holiday movie. Feeling hungry? What is the winter season without the treats! Warm up with delicious hot chocolate, warm apple cider & seasonal mulled wine. Round out your evening with all the feel-good nibbles like soup, baked goods & taffy. To capture these tasty moments and those magical holiday memories, gather in close and flash those pearly (snow)whites for a complimentary photo at the Snaptique photobooth.
After you’ve had your fill of delicious treats and drinks, enjoy the breathtaking lights throughout the downtown, the true masterpiece of this celebration of the season. The incredible music of The Burlington Teen Tour Band will accompany you on this cheery, bright, and uplifting start to the winter season.
Candlelit Stroll takes place Friday November 24th, 6pm to 9pm, with BDBA animations and activities taking place 7pm to 9pm only. A complete list of event activities, times and participating businesses is available at https://burlingtondowntown.ca/candlelit23/.
