This event is especially pertinent to those 20-50 navigating the complexities of urban life and seeking meaningful discussions on political anxiety, civic engagement, and emotional resilience in today’s ever-changing landscape.


The panel will include speakers from various political backgrounds and community organizing efforts, providing a multifaceted perspective on the challenges and opportunities in today’s political environment. Join Diana Yoon, Program Manager at CHF Canada and former NDP candidate; Brennan Jackson, 16-year-old disability rights advocate and writer; and Walied Khogali Ali, Regent Park resident and community organizer, as they discuss navigating today’s political climate, building emotional resilience, and fostering civic engagement in uncertain times. 

Our podcast hosts are Asante Haughton, a leader in the mental health sphere, a veteran of the speaker circuit and one of CAMH’s 150 Difference Makers and Kritika Sharda, writer and a proud Program Facilitator with Unsinkable Youth, a charitable organization focused on mental health advocacy for youth and families through the power of storytelling.
