       Queer Gaming Hamilton is a recurring gathering for queer and queer-ally people of all ages to connect through the collective experience of games, every four weeks on Friday evenings, from 6pm to 9pm.  Our gatherings prioritize equitable, inclusive, and anti-oppressive principles.  This group comprises people with a variety of identities; including non-binary, Two Spirit, and trans members.  Our goal is to foster a compassionate and respectful environment, and welcome everyone in that spirit.

       Our next event will be taking place at the Neighbour to Neighbour Community Food Centre, in Unit 10 of 310 Limeridge Road West, Friday May 5th.  The following event will be four weeks from then, on June 2nd.  We have also been permitted to use the CFC’s 5.7cm pin press machine for the events scheduled at their location.

As the sunny days start to multiply, we’re looking ahead to celebrating our Community Concert Fundraiser with all of you on Saturday, June 10th, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 2 Bond St. N., Hamilton, ON!

Join us for the premiere of our Hamilton-based showroom! Theatrix Costume House is delighted to host our second annual networking event, inviting film and tv, costume designers, studios, location managers, theatre companies, photographers, video production, business associations, local businesses, schools, media coverage, musicians, historical societies, galleries and local artists.

Some highlights include live music and entertainment, complimentary refreshments, raffles and tours of our facilities and services. Our creative team will also be available to chat with you about the services we offer such as custom design, makeup, wigs and costume rentals. We look forward to meeting you!

The 6th Annual Taste of the Middle East Summer Festival 2023 will transform “Nathan Phillips Square” into a walk through the streets & souks of the Middle East, serving up the delightful tastes of Arabic Music, Art, Heritage, and Culture. The festival will strive to showcase an electric mix of new and emerging local artists, old favorites, and some of today’s most prominent performers in Toronto’s Canadian Arabic community.

The 26^th Annual Dundas Studio is on Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1 from
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 7 studios locations in and around Dundas.   

Admission is free.  

The theme
for the 2023 Dundas Studio Tour is Changing Shapes. As the saying
goes, art imitates life. So as in life, our art is constantly growing,
evolving, and changing. Be it experimenting with a different form or media. Our
art is constantly changing shapes. Whether it be a change in the pattern or cut
of a design, or a change in the painter’s interpretation of a landscape, or a
potter’s experimentation with different forms, art is not stagnant. It is a
living thing that grows and changes over time, constantly changing shapes.

Come and
experience the autumn colour and charm of Dundas and celebrate artistic
excellence.    Here you will find unique treasures for all
