Art in My Garden

Art in My Garden is a free outdoor art exhibition held in old Oakville along Lake Ontario. 65 local artists display their original work across 35 gardens and historical homes. Art is on display between Allan St and Navy Street south of Lakreshore in Downtown Oakville. 

The event is non-transactional, to allow visitors and artists to engage in meaningful conversations and allow space to fully appreciate and enjoy the art.

Visitors can also partake in creating art themselves. Our Hanging in Harmony project invites the public to paint small canvas squares under the theme of “joy in nature”.

The old post office and Thomas House will also be open on this day,  sharing a glimpse of the colorful history of the Town.
