Cathar(t)sis - Self-Discovery Through Gently Guided Writing

If you’re feeling fragmented from the pressure of an ‘always-on’ culture, and from the constant digital noise of emails, and notifications, join us for Cathar(t)sis, an hour of quiet creativity and self-discovery at Taste of Colombia on May 1.

Cathar(t)sis is a gently guided writing experience designed to bring you back to yourself when the noise of digital saturation gets too loud and breaks the connection to your own thoughts. 

It is a gentle self-discovery workshop to bring you back to who you are, beneath the labels, the titles, and the roles you carry. 

Through a short mindfulness grounding, and a deep analog writing session, you’ll be gently led to hand-write what’s been sitting inside you. Deeply honest, unfiltered, and purely you. 
You don’t need to be a writer, or have any writing experience. You will be guided at every step. Writing tools will be provided.
What you write in this session doesn’t need to be shared or published anywhere. This piece of writing will be for yourself, a lighthouse for the future. 

In this session, you will:

• Reset: 10 minutes of mindfulness to quiet the noise and come home to yourself. 
• Write: 30 minutes of guided analog writing to connect with yourself deeply
• Connect: Optional sharing at the end, or you can simply sit with your thoughts 

You will leave with:

• A quiet reminder of your voice
• Self Discovery through deep focus and creative clarity
