Creative Workshop - Reclaiming our Lake in Clay (Free)

BurlingtonGreen invites you to join this free creative workshop Reclaiming our Lake in Clay, led by clay artist Mariana Bolaños. You can make your own small dish inspired by the shapes of endangered fish species found in Lake Ontario. You will be shown different hand-building and slab-building techniques and have the opportunity to explore various ways of creating fun textures using stamps and found objects to make your fish plate unique. There will also be an opportunity to learn about sustainability in the Art Gallery’s clay studio and to help use the pugmill to reclaim clay.

Pre-registration and Informed Consent agreement required. All ages welcome, preference for those age 55 . Space is limited.
