Family Saturdays Fall 2023

Join us at the Gallery each month with family and friends for free art activities inspired by our current exhibitions.

Curious about what happens at Family Saturdays? Every event is different from the last—we’ve created handmade paper, sketchbooks, landscapes, and self-portraits, just to name a few of our recent art-making adventures! During the drop-in time, tables are set up with hands-on activities for families and visitors of all ages. We encourage families to explore our exhibitions during their visit, and make connections between their projects, and the work of our featured artists this season.

Please note: Young children should have an adult to create alongside them for safety.

Our Family Saturday sessions are scheduled monthly as free, drop-in events from 12:00- 3:00 PM. For all ages, no pre-registration is required.

Learn how to print using the sun! Drop in and discover one of the first photographic processes ever developed. Participants will be given the opportunity to design, and experiment with the sun as a light source (or UV lights weather permitting), and develop their own cyanotypes.
