Gardeners of Burlington presents guest speaker, David Wood: “Attracting birds to your garden”

Gardening for birds
promotes the creation of nature-friendly
gardens, benefiting birds and other wildlife. While
providing birds with food, water,
shelter and a place to raise their young, your garden
will become more beautiful and
eco-friendlier.

David Wood has done birding all over Canada, USA,
South Africa and Namibia. He has
been involved in nature all his life: worked on a
farm and bird sanctuary “Happy
Ralphs” in St. Catharines; worked with the City of
Burlington to manage coyote
danger as they are attracted to bird feeders;
contributed to bringing the Trumpeter
swan back off the endangered birds list; and has been
the owner of Wild Birds
Unlimited Burlington for 30 years.
