BPAC’s ‘Live & Local’
Artist Development Initiative supports the development of local artists by
providing them with professional support and performance opportunities in our
world-class venue, while also offering mentorship by connecting them with
established industry professionals.

THOM ANTHONY & JAMES OLIVER
Thom Anthony singer, songwriter and James Oliver, songwriter, composer and
multi-instrumentalist have come together to pursue and continue their shared
passion for music. Estranged for many years these two brothers reunite shaping
and carving out songs inspired by lost love, fear, hope and solitude.
Influenced by artists like Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Genesis and Ludwig van
Beethoven, their music is thought provoking, edgy and symbolistic.

SOPHIA KATHE
Sophia
is an
up and coming musical artist with raw talent that shines through in the songs
she writes. Drawing inspiration from rock bands like Alice in
Chains and Soundgarden. She has graced local stages and theatres  carving
out a niche for herself with her powerful and soulful vocals and lyrics. Her
music captures the raw emotional essence of 90s era grunge and current
alternative hard rock music. With a promising future ahead this talented artist
is set to create even more incredible music that will resonate with
fans.

KEVIN FOX
Halifax native Kevin Fox is a revered multi-instrumentalist, sought-after
composer/orchestral arranger/music director and innovative recording artist.
Between recording and performing his own music Kevin tours the world as a
member of the Steven Page Trio.

He
has performed with and/or provided arrangements for: Chantal Kreviazuk, Lights,
