Pottery for Kids ages 7-9

Our 6-week course is designed for children ages 7 to 9 who have a passion for clay. Our experienced instructor will guide them through the basics of working with clay and help them create their own unique pieces. Perfect for kids who want to explore their artistic side in a safe environment to express themselves and have fun while learning about clay. This is also a great opportunity to meet new friends who share a passion for art.

This course includes everything your child needs to create pieces. Instruction, equipment, clay, tools, paint, firing and glazing.

Who is this class for?
Ages 7 years to 9 years.

How long is the session?
1.5 Hours with clean up included.

What do kids make?
At the beginning of the course the instructor will go through all projects planned and go through the 8 week schedule, the projects can change if the group all agree. Projects are planned to suit the level of the course. Our kids courses are handbuilding only, for wheel courses we ask that they are at least 13 years old.

Is it your first time in our studio?
We love to share our love of clay with you and everything we’ve learned through years of playing with clay. This course is a great introduction to pottery.
