Puppet Festival Mississauga's Puppet Slam!

At 9PM on March 14th, Halo Espresso Bar will let its proverbial halo down as puppets take over to present the insane and charming spectacle; Puppet Slam! This event showcases a series of original, strikingly creative puppetry acts within an intimate environment. The individual puppet shows at this event will vary in content, such as parody, romance, drag, clowning, and interactive theatre, but on the whole, this Slam is a comedy. The Halo Espresso Bar is an intimate environment where wine will be available for purchase during this late-night event. The performances range from tame to mature and begins quite late, so this show has rated itself 18 . Puppet Slam is more than an entertaining night out. It is even more than an homage to the ancient and rich diversity of puppet arts. “Puppet Slam” is an example of opportunity, a gift of inspiration, and the mark of a supportive community.
