ages. Set up an outdoor bar in one area of your yard, and serve ap-
petizers and dessert in another to encourage mingling if there are lots
of guests. Keep your bar stocked with glasses (plastic or melamine),
napkins, straws, swizzle sticks, cocktail shaker (if you’re mixing cock-
tails) and a bottle opener. Ensure there’s lots of water handy too.
TABLEWARE & ACCESSORIES
Liven up the table with colourful dishes in quatrefoil prints and wide
stripes that are lightweight and sturdy. Add in attractive unbreakable
highball glasses, tumblers and wine glasses as well as outdoor cutlery
with colourful handles.
LIGHTING
Create ambient lighting with spotlights, lanterns and LED string lights.
Go solar for added convenience. String lights are available in styles
from simple globes and paper lanterns to Edison bulbs and Moroccan
baubles. Remember to use citronella candles to keep bugs at bay.
