If you’re looking for a tall glass of beer after a long, hard day, Beertown is the perfect place to go. Beertown has been a staple restaurant chain in Canada for over a decade, providing independently-brewed craft beer along with an ever changing mouthwatering menu. Burlington’s very own Beertown is located down Appleby Line right before Upper Middle Road.

Beertown has an incredibly wide choice of starter options. Yearlong, you’re free to help yourselves to wings ($18.50), calamari ($19), fish tacos ($14), and more. For us, the highlight of their starters are their poutine. Beertown takes great pride in their poutine, going as far as to label theirs as ‘Proper Poutine’ ($13). This consists of fresh russet fries and cheese curds drowned in beef gravy.

Beertown’s menu is always changing, constantly providing mouthwatering limited time options. An example of this is their fried chicken poutine ($20), which adds crisply seasoned bites of fried chicken and bacon to a poutine with chives & aoili instead of gravy. This was available multiple times in the past as a limited-time option, and is bound to come back in the future.

Beertown’s burgers and sandwiches are incredibly popular, and for good reason. The buns are perfectly toasted, the patties are exploding with flavour, and each topping is added with perfect care. Best of all – they go together perfectly with a glass of beer! We recommend their Brie, Bacon + Black Truffle Burger ($23.50), which comes with Parmesan truffle fries.

Brunch

On weekends, Beertown serves brunch! Head on over from 10 AM to 2 PM to explore their delicious brunch menu. First, you should definitely check out their Brewer’s Breakfast ($16.50). 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, beans, fries, and a pile of toast for you to dip in cheese sauce. This’ll be sure to kick your morning into gear.

Another item you should check out on their Brunch menu is their Beertown Benedict ($17.50). It consists of 2 poached eggs, peameal bacon and a slice of tomato drizzled in house-made chipotle hollandaise on top of a toasted biscuit. Additionally, you could also try their special Santa Barbara Benedict ($16.50) which adds half an avocado, chives, and basil hollandaise.

Beertown has plenty of sweets & treats available in gluten friendly and vegan options. You can find brownies, ice cream, pudding, and fruit crumbles, to dig into after your meal. Our favourite is their Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake ($10), with smooth whipped cream and a crunchy chocolate cookie crust.
