Step Back in Time “The Agricultural History of North Oakville!”

Bring the whole family for a day of hands-on history:
• Wash clothes the old-fashioned way and colour our big farm table
• Meet farm animals, milk a model cow, see corn shelled and ground and the early engines thumping along
• Experience the 1929 Rumely tractor that once worked the Palermo fields
• See the 1948 Oakville fire truck, visit the old Palermo Market and watch the blacksmith at work
• Take a picture with the Head Teacher, ring the school bell, play vintage games and enjoy free popcorn
• Meet local historians, trace your family roots with genealogists, and learn about local Indigenous history and trails
• Historic tours brochures of Pioneer Palermo Cemetery, visit downtown Palermo and the 1812 Palermo United Church (with tea!)

Hands-on, family-friendly and free — a perfect way to discover our shared history.
