Running May 8–31 at Drury Lane Theatre in Burlington, Nice Work If You Can Get It is a high-energy musical comedy set in the glitzy world of the 1920s. Packed with the timeless music of George and Ira Gershwin, the show blends romance, mischief, and laugh-out-loud moments into a lively Jazz Age escape.

The story follows wealthy playboy Jimmy Winter and bootlegger Billie Bendix, whose worlds collide when Billie hides hundreds of bottles of contraband gin inside Jimmy’s Long Island beach house just days before his wedding. When guests begin arriving unexpectedly, the result is a fast-paced comedy of mistaken identities, hidden secrets, and forbidden romance.

With a talented cast of local performers and Drury Lane’s signature community theatre charm, audiences can expect dazzling costumes, lively choreography, and classic Gershwin songs that have entertained generations.
