friendly group of amateur gardeners interested in learning more about all
aspects of gardening.


Join Dave, “The Beekeeper” at “Backed by Bees”, for an engaging
exploration of honey’s incredible legacy and the evolution of beekeeping. From
the earliest depictions of honey hunters in ancient cave art to the development
of the modern hive, Dave will guide us through millennia of honey’s journey
through human history. He’ll reveal how beekeeping techniques evolved across
cultures and continents, sharing his own experiences in the field to illustrate
the essential role bees play today in ecosystems and agriculture. This talk is
perfect for anyone curious about the timeless bond between humans and bees.To
participate in the honey tasting a charge of $3 will be collected at the door.
