Spiced Maple Hot Toddy

INGREDIENTS

(with Barnburner Whisky)
  •  1 ½ oz Barnburner Whisky
  •  ¾ cup hot water (around 175°F)
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 clove or star anise
    (optional)

METHOD

Heat the water just below boiling, stir in maple syrup and lemon juice, then add Barnburner Whiskey. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a clove. The whisky’s caramel and vanilla notes make this warming and beautifully balanced.
